Terms of service - Bold Heart Counselling

1. Counselling Services Provided

I offer individual counselling services for adult clients, with a focus on trauma-informed support, inner child work, and intergenerational healing. Sessions are tailored to meet each client’s needs and may include talk therapy, psychoeducation, emotional regulation tools, and self-reflection practices.

All sessions are conducted in a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental space, either in person or online via secure video platform (e.g., Zoom, Halaxy, etc.).

2. Session Duration & Fees

Standard Session: 60 minutes – $130 AUD
Extended Session: 120 minutes – $240 AUD
A limited number of sliding scale spaces are available. Please discuss this during your clarity call or intake session.
Payment is due on the day of service via bank transfer, credit card, or direct debit (invoicing provided if required).

3. Free Clarity Call

Clients are welcome to book a free 30-minute clarity call to determine if we’re a good fit before beginning therapy. This is a no-obligation, no-pressure space to ask questions and explore your goals for counselling.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your time is valuable — and so is mine. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged the full session fee.

If you’re experiencing an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, please reach out as soon as possible — I will always approach with compassion.

5. Confidentiality

All sessions are held in strict confidence and in accordance with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics. Your personal information and session content will not be shared without your written consent, except in the following cases:

If there is a risk of serious harm to you or others
If required by law (e.g., subpoena or legal order)
If there is disclosure of abuse involving a minor or vulnerable person

6. Record Keeping

Basic session notes and personal details are securely stored in a password-protected client management system and kept in line with ACA guidelines. You have the right to request access to your records at any time.

7. Suitability for Counselling

My counselling services are designed to support clients with emotional wellbeing, relational healing, and trauma recovery. I do not provide crisis intervention, diagnosis, or medical/psychiatric treatment.
